Howdy pals, Dave here from sunny Scotland. I hope you’re all having a great week so far :)
I’m slowly ramping up on a bit of an awareness campaign for my very first comic series Bust - which started back in 2014.
If you’re new to the series, it’s a mash up of Mad Max and Fight Club, a post apocalyptic saga that follows a Las Vegas card dealer navigating the mutant wastelands of America while battling his failing mind.
It’s a brutal, bloody series that deals with a ton of deep issues, from mental health challenges to big life questions like legacy, and optimism for the future.
The first four issues are available on my store now, if you fancy giving it a shot. I’ll be adding digital copies tomorrow, if you prefer to skip on postage. Check back tomorrow night and you’ll see them in the store!
For various life reasons, production on the series slowed right down over COVID, but work on the fifth and final issue is going well. We’re now over halfway done with the art, and hoping to do a Kickstarter at some point.
